Pianist, Composer, keyboardist, Producer and Playback Manager

Studied Classical music at Conservatório de Castelo Branco and Jazz at Hot Club de Portugal.

Founded “Quarteto Mário Frasco (Jazz, Fusion) doing several shows with invited musicians, such as, Laurent Filipe (Trompet). All the songs on the that project are from is autorship. Worked also with Nana Sousa Dias at Expo 98 in this same project.

As composer, created several advertising themes for diferent brands, such as: Chá Pleno, BP, Leka Portugal and songs for the record of Valentino. Participated as a pianist in the scene “Conferência de Imprensa e outras Aldrabices” of Harold Pinter, with stage work of Jorge Silva Melo, production of “Artistas Unidos”.

Played with Sofia de Portugal (Portuguese music, Bossa Nova and Jazz), NGAFA (Afrojazz), Pedro Moura (Mpb), Pilar Homem de Melo (Portuguese Music), Blue Train (Blues), Laurent Filipe (Jazz), Pólo Norte(Pop), Beto (Música Ligera), Kais Ensemble (Jazz), Valentino(Pop).

Worked with several Jazz bands making lots of shows at CCB (Centro Cultural de Belém). Teached piano at Fundação Musical dos Amigos das Crianças. He also played at various hotels, such as: Hotel Continental, Altis Park, Palácio dos Seteais, Hotel Albatroz, Hotel Sofitel, Hotel Rainha D. Amélia(Castelo Branco),and Kais for Lisbon

Recordings: Madredeus (Oxalá Remixes), Excesso (Tudo mudou), Out Standing (Increasing the cabal), Pedro Moura & Banda Saracoteia (mpb.pt), Sofia de Portugal (Origem) e Valentino (Puzzle).

He was the musical director on one of the shows at Expo 98 “Sofia de Portugal e os seus convidados”. With the fowlling musicians : Sofia de Portugal (Voice), Janita Salomé (Voice), Carlos Barreto (Double Bass).
